We have stopped at some fun places on the way out this year. Our first stop was the Lincoln children's zoo and botanical gardens. They have a beautiful sunken garden as part of the gardens and it was ALMOST more fun than the zoo.
There was a butterfly house, the goats had a bridge--reminded me of Billy goat's gruff, monkeys, cats, and Mary was most interested to see the amur leopard. We were surprized to see an albino peacock.
