Elizabeth and Mary had a great time at camp the week before the 4 July. This is a picture of the day they left. The weather was perfect for them all week. Mary's expression about camp when we would tell her what it was going to be like was " And I had to pay $95 for this?" We told her about the ticks, chiggers, kp duty, cleaning the bathroom, bug and mice in the cabins, the long long hikes, etc. In spite of all of our stories, she had fun and even got some sleep each night.
Wow! I remember only paying between 30-50 every year for camp.
